Dead Or Alive, BlazBlue 3DS releasing on the same day

The 3DS is fast becoming an awesome home for fighting games, what with Super Street Fighter IV 3D providing as high quality an experience as you can hope for on a handheld, and Dead or Alive Dimensions and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift 2 coming to the system soon, too.

The problem with those two titles, though, is that Tecmo Koei and Aksys are releasing them on the same day, May 24, forcing gamers to choose which fighter they’d rather spend their $40 on.

It might be an easy choice at least, as they’re drastically different experiences — Dead or Alive Dimensions is a 3D fighter while BlazBlue is a 2D experience. Still, it seems a bad idea for either of these publishers to put them on shelves on the same day!
