You won’t get Curly’s 3D underwear ‘til Nov. 8
NIS America announced that it’s pushed back Cave Story 3D’s release date by three months to November 9 (the same week Modern Warfare 3 ships!) as it works with Nicalis to make “improvements to enhance gameplay”.
“Changes are in the small details,” explains NIS America producer Jack Niida, “but in order to satisfy both the fans and the new players we need to make sure the game is done right.”
This will likely please the Cave Story fans who were put off by the initial, unappealing 3D screenshots that were released — more recent images/videos show some improvement on the visuals.
As for the lecherous image of Quote with Curly’s underwear, I found it while searching for Cave Story fanart, and it was too silly to not share.
